Is Lipoprotein (a) a Risk Factor for Coronary Artery Ectasia?

Figure 1. Lp(a) not normally distributed. Lp(a) values had a skewed distribution on Kolmogorov-Smirnov test; so they were represented as median and interquartile ranges. Median level of Lp(a) in the general sample was 18.5 mg/dL. Lp(a): lipoprotein (a).

Figure 2. Lp(a) levels in males and females in the general sample. There is no significant difference in Lp(a) levels between males and females (median: 18.5 mg/dL in males vs. 17.5 mg/dL in females, P value = 0.811). Lp(a): lipoprotein (a).
